Writing guidance
Worried you haven’t written a story in a while? Please don’t worry: telling people your story is more important (we can check through and add the full stops in). It doesn’t have to be a long story. The template below might help:
An example of the paragraph structure below:
1. Who are the people in your story? Give background or context to your experience. You can use fake names. |
2. What is the experience you’d like to talk about? Maybe think about funny or thought provoking times. |
3. Explain why you think carers’ experiences are important for people to know about, e.g. lack of funding in the past affecting services, prejudice, |
4. Have you learnt anything about yourself/your community/ your resilience? |
